Projects
One of the main goals of Reiki for Peace is to create mixed
groups of Israelis and Palestinians for Reiki Sharing and conversation as
often as possible both in Jerusalem and
beyond. Palestinian Reiki students
from the West Bank come with entry permits from the
Israeli Army.
Special Events: Reiki Sharing Marathon Weekends
We
plan special Reiki Sharing Marathon Weekends at which participants will spend
two days together, sharing Reiki, Meals, conversations guided by trained
facilitators, music, and dancing. Each
such event will cost about $4,000. We
seek contributors to make these amazing meetings take place.
Group Reiki
Whenever one
person gives Reiki to another who then reciprocates, giving Reiki back, there
is Reiki Sharing. When a number of
people all give Reiki to one person at the same time this is called a Group
Reiki treatment. This can be used as a
means to give a more intense treatment to someone in great need or to give a
lot of Reiki in a short period. It is
also a good opportunity for students to learn together.
Reiki Sharing
A Reiki
Sharing Meeting usually includes more than two people: the intention is to give “Group Reiki
Treatments.” At these Reiki Sharing
Meetings, each student receives a Group Reiki Treatment and participates in
treating the other students, each one in turn. Regularly attending Reiki Sharing Meetings
is energizing both because of the concentration of Reiki received and given,
and because meeting with fellow Reiki students is socially supportive. Especially, but not only, when the Reiki
Teacher is present, these Reiki Sharing Meetings provide the opportunity to
discuss treatments that the students have given to others, to discuss how
they feel about treating each other, and to share how Reiki works in their
lives. Even small contributions would
help us to finance the transportation costs, housing and more.

We are
presently improving our web site – enlarging it from a single page, adding
more information and making it possible for people to work with us. Most important, is making sure that all the
information is available in all three languages. In addition, we want to include creative
contributions from our participants.
All this requires a great deal of effort, and money, too.
